The Carbon Dioxide Removal Leadership Act (CDRLA) is an advocacy mission led by Toby Bryce
A Start Guide for organizing advocacy is here.
CDRLA refers to an array of US state and federal initiatives for carbon dioxide removal that feature the following basic concepts:
- Establishing an annual goal for carbon dioxide removal within the subject polity
- Establishing a guaranteed reward fee for demonstrating removal of each ton of carbon dioxide
- Creating a schedule of increasing annual goals and a schedule of decreasing reward fees to incentivize both an increasing market for removal and increasing cost-efficiency within the market.
