March 9 Experiment:
I started humidifying my hydrated lime at 10:40 am EST on March 9th, as shown in the images below.
After 24 hours, on March 10 at 10:40 am EST I removed the coffee filter with the hydrated lime and let it sit near the fan to begin drying (seen below).
I will continue to weigh my sample every few hours!

My second experiment resulted in the capture of 2.29 grams of CO2!
Formula [ ( Final weight of sample after drying ) - (Weight of coffee filter + hydrated lime) ] x 1.7.
I allowed my sample to dry for 24 hours and weighed every few hours to monitor fluctuations in weight. The weight I measured after 24 hours was the same at 28, and 32 hours after setting the sample to dry. No fluctuations in weight indicated that the sample is completely dry.
